River Crests; More Roads Reopening
Most roads formerly closed by flooding along rivers and streams
in west and central Missouri are reopening as flood crests move downstream. High water along I-29 near Platte City came close but didn’t top the highway and water is subsiding. Only three counties in MoDOT’s eight-county Kansas City District have flood-related closures on this fifth day of the flood of 2007.

Platte County
Route 9 southbound right lane closed at Platte/Clay County Line due to high water
Route 45 at the Platte River bridge south of Farley
Route 92 west of the Platte River bridge to the Route 92 spur
Route E 4 miles east of Camden Point at the Platte River
Route DD between Route E and Route Z
Route HH east of I-29
Route KK & B intersection and both routes closed 4 miles south of Ridgely
Route Z at the Platte River
