Dusenbery Faces Primary Opponent
Prior to the main program, Missouri Gubernatorial candidate Kenny Hulshof will address the Club. Hulshof, the District 9 Congressman will face Missouri state treasurer Sarah Steelman in the primary. Steelman, a spokesman for the club said, has been invited to the meeting as well. After a meet and greet, former Parkville
mayor Kathy Dusenbery will square off against Jeff Jones.
The format of the debate gives each candidate an opportunity for an opening statement prior to answering questions. Residents and club members in attendance may submit their written questions, which will be read by a moderator. Then, each candidate, Dusenbery and Jones, will be given a brief time period for their response.
Meetings are open to the public and media. The July 3rd will begin at 5:30 P.M. and the debate starts at 6:15 P.M. The cost for O’Dowd’s hors d’ oeuvres and one drink is $10 for members and $12.50 for non-members. The event will take place at O’Dowd’s Little Dublin in Zona Rosa.
