River Jam Moves to Downtown City Parking Lot Due to Flooding
Despite rampant rain and flooding in English Landing Park, the show will go on for Parkville’s annual Jazz, Blues and Fine Arts River Jam.
Scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Friday, the event will be hosted in the municipal parking lot downtown, adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. The event will continue on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. and last until 11 p.m. that evening.
The event is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the event. For more information call 816-880-9026.
